USA Swimming IM Xtreme Games
Northern Midwest Region
November 19 - 20, 2011
IUPUI Natatorium, Indianapolis, Indiana
hosted by Brownsburg Swim Club and IUPUI Natatorium

The IM Xtreme Games is for swimmers between 11 and 16 years old. Each competitor must swim the following list of events:
| 11 - 12 year olds | 13 - 16 year olds |
| 100 Butterfly | 200 Butterfly |
| 100 Backstroke | 200 Backstroke |
| 100 Breaststroke | 200 Breasstroke |
| 500 Freestyle | 500 Freestyle |
| 200 Individual Medley | 200 Individual Medley |
| 400 Individual Medley |
The IM Xtreme Games is an exciting format where individual event winners are not necessarily winning the event. Winners are those who have the highest total points at the end of the competion. Throughout the weekend, the leaders will change as each event is completed and the running totals calculated. The winners will not be known until the very last event is completed.
The IM Xtreme program is designed to encourage age group swimmers to develop competence in all strokes at a young age. This will lead to better swimmers as they mature in the sport.
